The UK’s foremost aluminium high-speed vessel manufacturer, Aluminium Marine Consultants (AMC), will be unveiling its newly launched 14 metre fire-fighting (FiFi) vessel at Seawork International, together with its award-winning naval architects, Walker Marine Design, and their build partner, UK firefighting supplier, Angloco.
Fitted with Seaglaze Marine Windows’ closure products throughout the vessel, she has been painstakingly designed to suit the demands of her unique role. Built at AMC’s yard in Cowes, Isle of Wight (UK), the vessel delivers speeds of up to 33 knots, supply up to 4,500 litres of water per minute from three monitors, and will carry a full set of fire-fighting and medical equipment. The 14m FiFi has a maximum speed of 33 knots, will supply up to 4,500 litres per minute of water from three monitors and carries a full set of firefighting and medical equipment.
The new 14m Fire Fighting vessel is destined for export to South America where she will undertake multiple roles to meet the risks and hazards of the modern-day marine firefighting.
